About Us

Church Vision

The primary purpose of the ministry of City Of David Christian Center is to teach the uncompromising Word of God and to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The vision the Lord gave me was of a church without division. That is a church void of segregation because of race or nationality. To establish a church without the walls of denominational barriers a church filled with born again, Spirit-filled believers who are governed by the principles of God's Word and lead victorious lives. We are to have a church of believers where the fruit of love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, and temperance are abundant flowing throughout the body.

This ministry's vision is plainly to reach the lost and teach the found. We are called to reach out beyond the walls of this church and be a demonstration of the principles of the kingdom of God in the earth. Not only do we assume responsibility for this local church, but for our community. We are called to be the moral conscience of society, influencing our government and setting a standard of righteousness at all times.

We are here to develop God-given gifts and talents and to inspire a spirit of excellence in the people of God. This ministry is called to equip and help bring maturity to the Body of Christ. We are not organized to merely distribute fish to people, but to teach men and women to fish for themselves. We are called to disciple men and women and have them disciple others.

What We Believe:

• The Bible is the inspired Word of God (II Timothy 3:15).
• There is only one true living God, the Father Author and Creator of all things who has chosen to reveal Himself as Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4 Is 43:10; Matthew 28:19; Luke 3:22; John 15:8 John 14:20,26 John 3-16-18).
• In the virgin birth of Jesus Christ and he is the Son of God and the son of man. He came to save man form condemnation of sin by offering His blood as an atonement and making it available to all who exercise faith in him Matthew 1:18-25 Luke 1:31-35; I Corinthians 15:3 II Chronicles 5:21).
• Whoever repents of their sin and accepts by faith Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior has forgiveness of his sin and has eternal life with God (Romans 10:18-13).
• That the Holy Spirit is presently indwelling in the believer and bears witness by the evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2: 1-4)
• In the operation of the five fold ministerial gifts operating freely under the authority of the Holy Spirit for the perfecting and edifing of the body of Christ.
• The Lord's Supper (Communion) is done in remembrance of our Lord Jesus Christ ( I Corinthians 11:23-26).

Our Mission

The mission of City of David Christian Center is to win souls for Jesus Christ, regardless of racial or ethnical background. For we believe God has called this church to teach and nurture His people in the spirit of love and understanding.
